TerraTrike
has never been interested in doing things the “normal” way. We proved that when we turned the recumbent trike world on its head with the Rover—a trike built for the masses, sitting higher than what most riders were used to and opening the door for a whole new group of people to discover recumbent riding.
That mindset carried forward into the Rambler. More refined, more confident, and in its second generation, willing to challenge expectations once again. By rolling out 24” wheels all the way around, the Rambler delivered a higher seat, better visibility, and a more balanced stance. Those wheels also unlocked modern drivetrain compatibility, giving riders a smarter gear range and a simpler, more intuitive riding experience. And yes—let’s be honest—it just looked better doing it.
With the Rebel, the TerraTrike team took everything that made the Rambler
such a success and focused it into an even more accessible package. It
keeps the winning formula: 24” wheels front and rear, a wider,
confidence-inspiring stance, a comfortable wide seat, and a drivetrain
that’s easy to understand and easy to live with. But most importantly,
the seat sits at a whopping 17.5” high! Compare that to other
“high-seated” trikes on the market.
The result is a trike that lowers the barrier to entry without cutting
corners—giving more riders an affordable, high-quality starting point
for discovering movement, freedom, and their own path to better health.
Because riding different shouldn’t be complicated.
