Assembly instructions for Fold and Go Tricycle

1 Remove tricycle from box

2 Remove all packaging and inspect for damage

3 Install rear wheels

Install drive rear wheel


A Inspect both rear wheels the drive wheel hub will be splined to fit axle spline on axle.

B Install drive wheel on axle and insert hub spacer in hub.

C Install two axle washers then the axle nut.

D Make sure nylon section on nut is in contact with threads on axle.

Install Freewheel Wheel


A) Remove axle nut and two washers from axle.

B) Leave axle spacer on axle next to bearing

C) Install Freewheel rear wheel on axle

D) Install two axle washers then axle nut.

E) Tighten axle nut, make sure nylon section on nut is in contact with threads on axle. Do not over tighten or you can damage bearings. Tighten just tighten enough so wheel has no play on axle.

4 Insert front wheel into fork


Assemble as follows

A) Insert axle into fork dropout.

B) Insert safety washer into hole in fork

C) Install axle washer

D) Tighten axle nut on both sides of wheel

4 Attach front fender brace

5 Insert handlebar stem into fork and tighten lever on top of stem


A) Note: Handlebar stem is marked with a minimum insertion mark

5 Install Brake Cable


A) Inserts brake cable end into brake cable

B) Insert brake cable housing into adjuster barrel

C) Insert brake wire through noodle

D) Insert brake noodle into brake arm and install boot

E) The brake wire runs between the brake bolt and brake arm

6 Brake Adjustments


A) Pull brake wire through brake bolt and brake arm until brake pads are close to rim

B) Brake can be centered by tightening or loosing Philips screw on brake arms

7 Install Seat Post


A) Note seat pole is marked with a minimum insertion into frame mark

7 Install rear baskets

A) Put basket bolts thought basket and frame and tighten nut on bottom of bolt

8 Check air pressure in tires

A) Air pressure is marked in side wall of tire

9 Inspect for safety before riding

A) Brakes make sure they stop properly

B) Handlebar stem and handlebar make sure they are tight

C) Seat and seat post make sure they are tight

D) Nuts on all three wheels are tight

E) Check pedals to make sure they are tight

Trouble shooting

Front brake is not stopping properly


A) Cable is too loose, use adjuster on brake lever - thread outward

B) If cable is still too loose adjust at cable at brake bolt by pulling wire through brake arm further

C) Check to see if cable moves thought housing freely

D) Check to see if brake handle does not bind

E) Brake can be centered Left or Right by tightening or loosing Phillips screw on brake arm.

Three speed does not shift properly


A) Adjust cable at adjuster barrel while in third gear- their should only be a little slack in the cable

B) After adjustment check to see that you can shift to third gear without forcing the shifter

C) If cable is difficult to shift loosen cable slightly at adjuster barrel

Head Set (To loose or to tight)

A) Loosen top nut, tighten or loosen cone by hand, retighten top nut with wrench

Rear wheel do not spin well

  • Nut on out side of wheel is too tight and binding bearing, loosen outside nut slightly
  • Popping noise from rear wheel – Axle nut is too tight to too loose.
