TerraTrike Tour Tricycle

The Tour is the result of the original TerraTrike design developed in 1996 and has been refined into the perfect long distance trike. The chro-moly frame and upgraded components make this the perfect touring platform that allows you to find your own road. This is the trike that Dan Price and the Altmans used to cross the United States.

With a standard 27 speed drive-train and slightly lighter set-up, it allows you to pack tents, sleeping gear, and camping supplies in optional panniers or trunk pack without creating any instability or unwanted vibrations. This TerraTrike is rock solid and comfortable for the long haul.  The Cro-Moly frame is both more durable than aluminum frames and can also can give a softer more forgiving ride.

Couple this with a BOB trailer and you have as much storage potential as a small car, without the gas expense. The Tour is just as well suited for retrieving groceries, running to the Laundromat or a quick run to the coffee shop as it is for crossing the country.

The Tour's seat can be recline from 40 to 70 degrees which allows you to set the angle to you personal preference. The seat is 9 1/2" high and the overall weight is only 36 Lbs. and is capable of carrying 300 Lbs.
