The Greenspeed GT1 is a folding recumbent tadpole style trike with a big personality. Designed as an easily
transportable trike so that you can fold it up to fit in your car or to
take up less space in your shed, it's quick fold is achieved with only a
6mm Allen key for the single seat bolt and one quick release for the

This trike is ideal for commuters. Originally equipped with an 8 speed
Nexus internally geared rear hub. The GT1 now has a front triple crank
set, and an eight speed cassette, giving 24 gear combinations, and
superb hill climbing ability. These 24 gears are controlled with Shimano
Dura Ultegra bar end shifters - making shifting much easier than the
cheaper twist grip shifters fitted to many cheaper trikes. Made in a
small and standard size, you should find one to suit you. Available in
the pictured red color only.
There is a weight limit of 265lbs for this trike, so if you're on the
solid side, but still want a compactable trike, please check out the
GTO.
